salt water plants require water changes (1/4 volume ever month or two- RO water with salt) and chemistry balances and buffers- additives for water. You can add liquid nutrients for the plants as well.

Leather Corals are good, torch, feather dusters, mushroom plant.

I would like to help but I am a freshwater planted tank guy. I do know that the above list contains no true plants. Those are invertebrates and corals. I would suggest internet searches or books for better information. sites such as this one marine plant book online seem like a good start. from my limited experience with saltwater, most of the plants used are macro algaes. I have seen some tanks incorporate kelp and some seagrasses if they are large aquariums. the anemones, feather dusters, live soft corals, etc. are not plants, even though they may resemble such.

btw, I perform a 20% water change (at least) once per week (sometimes 2 or 3 times) for freshwater aquariums. you really can not do it too often.
