Rotten window trim

What kind of person would I call to replace some rotten trim around my windows? A painter? A carpenter? I'm reluctant to call a window company because I don't necessarily need new windows and don't want to be sold something I don't need. I am perfectly willing to replace any windows that need replacing just not sure who to call.

I would try a local handyman. Try calling your BBB if you have one or even the local new paper for ads. Always check references and make sure you ask for some that go back a while to make sure their work stands the test of time.
