Am looking for bed like this that can be retrofitted with elec adjustable mattress system inside. Will this work?

Thank you for shopping with us. This bed can be assembled without the slats and slat support bars, which would leave middle of the bed with an open space. You wouldn't be able place any weight on the bed rails at that point since it wouldn't have the proper support. The next step would be to determine if the electric bed frame and mattress would fit inside of the bed, which would probably be pretty tricky to have it match up properly and also look good.
