If there is any green at all there is still hope. Your best bet would be to dig up what is left of the plant and pot it up, that way you can baby it until it recovers. I have a problem with rabbits and other critters eating mine so I do this often and save most of them. Good luck!

thanks. i dug down into the much and found a stub but it looks brown not green. we have been getting alot of rain. my palace purple and snow angel are thriving. dont know what happened to sweet tea. ill dig it out if it doesnt rain tomorrow.

well i dug up sweet tea. wasnt any green left. saw a brown mushy stub did see some long white roots hanging from the clump. i put the dirt back. all is lost. have to buy a different kind. my melting fire isnt growing much either. some new growth but slow. snow angel has been blooming like crazy and palace purple growing like mad...i also added a hucheralla - eclipse this spring and that is doing well also. guess sweet tea didnt like all the rain we got????

Did you have Hechurella Sweet Tea or Heuchera Georgia Peach?

I was told that the Hechurella are suppose to be planted deeper than the Heucheras.
