Restoration Hardware Portman Bed - need nightstand help!

Just bought the RH Portman bed, but not the nightstands. The wall the furniture is on is 148 inches long and the bed is 82 inches wide, leaving 66 inches for the two nightstands. How wide can the nightstands be without overcrowding the space? And, any suggestions for style? We like an eclectic look and would like to include a bench or two stools at the foot of the bed too. Thanks!

You are very limited on space it seems, and 30" is not a lot for a night stand. I would suggest going for something with a reflective surface as to have the illusion of space.

For the foot end of the bed, I would keep to the color of the bed and go for something upholstered like...

Five feet for two nightstands is more than enough. However you don't want to crowd the wall with furniture especially with a wood headboard. Perhaps something like this:

Dimensions: 21Wx21Dx28H

The airy aspects of the nightstand balances out the solid headboard. The "floating" quality of the drawer adds a fun an playful aspect yet still blends quite nicely with the classic look of the headboard.
