Amanda, people should realize that you might be a newbie and help out, not jump down your throat and harrass you. I hope you will not be turned off by those experiences. There are plenty of really nice/helpful people here!

Also, check the "round robin exchange" which lists seed and plant exchanges. There are threads for newbies which make very helpful suggestions, and if all else fails, post over there, as alot of us hang out over there and are happy to help!
