Help! Rooted Plumeria is appearing sick.

Hello everyone! I bought a Plumeria about a month ago and it is showing some unusual symptoms that I would like to get ahead of before it is too late. The leaves are showing small yellow spots and have small clear droplets of a sticky substance on them. One leaf has small black dots as well appearing on the lower portion of the leaf. The trunk has small black dots that are also worrisome. The one branch that has buds, the buds are now dropping off and turning black. I can't see any bugs or fungus. I'll try to find some pictures.

I can't say for sure what causes buds to drop dead like that, but it's not something I would be too concerned about. I think it may be because there is so much proliferation in the plant tissue there; The plant is unable to support so much growth at once and ends up "dropping" them. Again, this is what I think is happening. I've seen it happen to all my plumerias and they still go on to continue producing tons of flowers until winter.

The tacky yellow stuff is also common in some plants and doesn't seem to pose a serious issue. I can't say whats up with the black spots though.

Thank you! I will keep on investigating the the black spots. They look concerning, but I can't match any pictures.
