Lola, please don't move your plant out of the full sun.....that wouldn't be a good idea at all.

It's important that you evaluate the size of the container, the porosity of the planting medium, your watering practices, the health of the root system, and the fertilization schedule.

Can the stake and ties be removed? They are typically installed by the grower to protect a plant from damage during shipping and the careless retail experience and should be removed at home. I've seen plants wrapped and taped so tightly that the flow of xylem is constricted....resulting in plant failure. (Just a thought since we can't see details.)

In summary, don't move the plant to a shadier location and do evaluate everything that has to do with what goes on within the confines of that container.

Watch for rust fungus and whitefly, two serious pests of this plant.

let me rephrase .. can you create shade around the pot itself ... simply so sunshine is not directly on it ... or on the tile near and under it ...

be creative ...even just a chair near it.. at the highest point of sun during the day ... might keep the sun off the pot ....
