William, They can look as though they are not getting taller, but if you see them developing more leaves then this is good. Growth in a girth and leaf is better than vertical growth right now. Depending on you location for natural heat and sunlight, your set up should be fine. If you HO flourescent bulbs make sure set at correct distance from plants. Make sure the area in which they are kept is warm enough.

Thanks so much for your respouse as it appears that I should not worry, however, I am concerned with the distance of the 8 bulb lamp. The lamp is about 1.5 feet above the adeniums. To this point they were under 45 watt led which was about 3 inches above the plants. What is your advice relative to the distance from the bulbs. Also, should I place them back on the heating pads?

Bill, I have always used T5 HO Flourescents on my seedlings and they are about 4" Max. from the canopy of the seedlings. I have never experienced burning. I however cannot comment on LED's or other.

As for heat mats. I only use when germinating and a week afterwards. The ambient temperature is more important than the bottom heat, although if not enough heat in space being grown. It would help.
