It was a dark and stormy night. ..

It was a dark and stormy night. ..but all of the tiny seeds that had been hidden away under layers of potting soil had now dared to open their eyes and peek into the large world of intense light and heat created by some force known locally as electricity. Some had shriveled and died rather than face this intense force, while the brave ones stretched their arms forth basking in the light. Then all at once comes a baptism which cools their tiny leaves as their roots are drenched with water, sometimes blue, and sometimes stinky. and then it is "lights out" as suddenly as the lights had appeared in the first place. Is this what life on earth is about? Is this all there is?

Oh no, the light has re-appeared. We must get stronger so we can endure to see what tomorrow brings.
