I have a split level home and of course it is warmer upstairs. There is a ceiling fan in the bedroom and it is considerably cooler, so I'd like to get another one installed in the main living area. My dilemma is where to put it. Our living room is large and doesn't currently have an overhead light. I could have one installed, but then I face the issue of WHERE to place it...center it in the room...center it over the tv/couch area, etc. I like the idea of it centered over the sitting area, but I'm afraid it will look funny when we inevitably rearrange.
My other option is to replace one of the two kitchen lights with a ceiling fan/light. Any ideas on what the best option is?
