I would appreciate some advice regarding Honeylocust trees we planted 3 years ago. Half of them (about 5 of 10) have begun to lean over, laden with leaves and new green growth. See attached picture. The trees themselves seem to be sturdy and free of disease, no cracks or damage, roots seem to be well- established. We have had an abundance of rain and humidity this season. We have fertilized the lawn once and trees once this year.

I have searched for information and have come up with possible causes including too much nitrogen/ over fertilizing, leaning towards a sun source (our trees all receive full sun/ partial sun) ...

Does anyone have experience with this? Do we need to prune our trees? Is late June an appropriate time? Will the trees right themselves without intervention? Thanks for any advice!
