I purchased a body bag of New Day at Walmart back near the end of April.

The plant has produced its first flower, which is white, not yellow. The petals are very thick and "waxy" which reminds me of John F. Kennedy. I had grown JFK many years ago (25+ years ago) and it didn't do well here. I also detect a moderate (not strong) scent.

We've had quite a bit of rain over the past week so I assume that the brown spots are botrytis and/or thrip damage.
