Agree that is what it looks like on fruit. Could also be Black Mold. What does the plant itself look like? Most any disease process would be even more obvious on the plant.

In my experience BER starts when the tomatoes are still green. Or that is what I have seen in the past on Roma. But mold is different.

Thank you for all the answers. I'm definitely a newbie at this. I will post pictures of the plant when I get home. Other than a few yellow leaves, kinda wilted a bit, I thought it looked pretty good

The plant shouldn't be that color. They look very pale in your photos. Are those raised beds or containers? How have you been feeding them?

At first I was giving the fish firtilizer to get them growing. Then started giving them Jobe's vegetable and tomato fertilizer.

Yeah, Alaska Fish fertilizer , being rich in N , should fix them.

Lisa, don't worry you prob have blossom end rot (ber), which is quite common. It's not a disease, it just happens sometimes during the initial growth phase, or if your soil moisture varies too much....some varieties are more prone than others. Usually only a few fruit are affected and it goes away, it's an environmental thing.

Lisa Mcclanahan-Oakes we'd need to see photos of your tomatoes and plants to know what the issue is with yours. As already said there are several possible causes.

Louie's plants have Cloudy spot and some black mold.

Dave, in your experience or knowledge does stink bug damaged fruit have a higher chance of getting one of the fruit molds? Common sense tells me that would be logical, but I haven't found anything about it online.

Depends on the degree of the damage done, how intense it is in a particular spot. A good patch of injury, no matter the cause, is very prone to mold development if conditions are right.

I am growing tomatoes for the first time in containers. I pkanted them May 28 in containers. They are very slow growing and i am getting small tomatoes but they have little brown spots. I think my neighbor sprayed his weeds and drifted over to my plants Here is a pic of my sadest looking plant. What can i do to help them!?!?!
