Obviously we have not seen this exact tile, but our experience is that when one cuts a tile to a custom size, the newly cut edges are noticeable.

I wouldn't cut a rectified stone tile. You will have odd cuts and you will lose the purpose of a rectified edge. If you can get material in the size you are looking for, then you might want to work with that. The bevel will be minor and will suit the product size.

I would hesitate to use cut marble tiles. You will have problems with the cuts. It will happen and there is no way around it. A VERY good stone mason will do a very good job...but even with the best trained German stone mason, you will have odd shaped tiles/floors. It is impossible to get it "perfect". Ask yourself if you would be OK with imperfections? And ask yourself if you can find/afford the most expensive/experienced stone mason available in your area? And then ask yourself if you can wait the 12 months it will take for his schedule to open up to fit in a bathroom floor? These guys are GOOD, they are EXPENSIVE, they are in HIGH DEMAND and they are VERY BUSY!

Good luck...I would not have a tile setter cut down marble. That's a job for a skilled stone mason.
