Love this hood--does it have an adapter that you can purchase for 9' ceiling heights?

The item only comes with the two pieces to reach up to a 9' ceiling. Unfortunately, there is currently no extensions available for this item.

So then it will work for a 9' ceiling? That's the height of our ceiling--so that would work.

Your description said for 8-8.5' ceilings and ours is 9'.

I believe this unit will be fine at a 9 foot ceiling. 0.5 feet should not make a difference in the units functionality
