A quick update
Hi I just wanted to thank everyone for their positive thoughts and wishes for my family! They seem to have paid off . After I last posted my DH found out he did indeed need further testing on both the kidney and thyroid masses and today we just receive word that at this time both biopsies looks clear!
He has his takedown or reversal surgery on Tuesday and now we just have test and scans every three months for five years. I am feeling more hopeful and normal at the moment.
Our addition has been slowly but surely moving along and hopefully will be complete before my husband comes home from the hospital next Friday but I will not hold my breath.
I have come to learn after lifting, finishing off carpentry that DH could not, opening the pool, painting 12 ft walls and ceilings and doing all yard work this spring and summer due to DH's lifting restrictions that I am a stronger and more capable woman than I realized and for that I am grateful.
Here is a peak at my not yet complete new bathroom. I drilled holes for the sink vanity and with my DHs help formed drawers that fit around the pipes and refinished the veneer.
