The manufacturer of our main cabinet line has the following recommendations for general cleaning cabinetry. Wipe cabinet surfaces with water and mild soap (such as a liquid dish soap) if needed and dry thoroughly. Do not use an abrasive cleaner or one with ammonia. Test any cleaning solution you are using on an inconspicuous area to make sure it is not going to discolor your cabinet finish. A mild dish soap should cut thorough the grease and may take more than one pass depending upon how much grease has accumulated. Also avoid pressing too hard with the cloth - this may cause burnishing.
