I would love to grow Florentina. I love the intense red and the form of the flower. I didn't find it this year, so I am hoping Palatine will distribute to my local garden centers like they did this year.

Palatine might still have some.......call them and drive there to pick it up. :-)

I am too lazy to drive there..lol. I will most likely email them this winter and ask whether they can ship it to my local nursery and I will pick it up..haha. Wish me luck.

I'm sorry - I can understand the frustration. This has happened to me more than once and after working hard to prepare a spot, baby the plant along (whether it needed it or not), then only to find out it is not the correct rose and may have to wait another year is maddening. I hope, somehow, you can find one soon.

Beautiful rose, though! Florentina is on my list for next year. I would love to grow Honeymoon as well - the pictures are fantastic - but I already have White Eden and Sombreuil. Another white rose in the mix may be too much - or maybe not :)

It was disappointing for sure but hopefully my replacement rose will grow extra fast! My sister was quite happy to get Florentina and said she's doing great even in our heatwave/drought conditions so I'm happy it will all work out :)

April, Honeymoon grows super fast! Mine is about 4' tall now, I pick it up in May when it was less than 1' tall. It should even grow faster down South. Yours will be taller than mine by next spring, you have good weather there to grow roses all season. :-) The Honeymoon's blooms are smaller than I thought though-about 1/2 size of Dreamland's......

Jjpeace, you're a lazy bone! :-) If Palatine still has some left, they'd be 4' tall now. Are you sitting still and not going? :-)
