Its a Bromeliad, a Tillandsia. Possibly T.cyanea. Most Tillandsias are called air plants.

I had to ignore the label as its instructions were for most bromeliads-fill the urn with water. But Tillandsia dont produce an urn. You just mist the leaves and have to foliar feed.

Its a "quail" plant.

I dont know the name Quail plant but common names are two a penny. I have come across mention of Pink Quill tho. I prefer latin names. Universal language.

It is Tillandsia cyanea, answers nicely to the common name Pink Quill bromiliad.

Or even Bromeliad ;)

As others have said, this is 100% Tillandsia Cyanea. Like other bromeliads, the flower won't last for ever , but the leaves will go on and on.

Someone informed me the plant dies after flowering. I dont think so

I believe, Larry, that the mother plant will begin to decline and die after the blooming cycle is over. But by that time, a healthy plant will have produced offsets, sometimes several.
