Doing a nice Wainscot gives great character and charm to a dining room.

I like the darker color for all the walls and then a large abstract painting with turquoise in it. A focal point like that will diminish to overwhelming quality of the wall and give you, well, FOCUS!

Or a large folding screen would work well with your Asian furnishings. Very elegant!

This wall is perfect for the grid art - use an art calendar from your favorite museum, then use 9 of the images matted out white and framed in silver frames. Make a grid of the 9 frames, stacking 3 over 3 over 3. You could select prints or a theme around your hobby or a country that you love, architecture, etc. That is the purpose of starting with an art calendar - multiple images of high quality all the same size. Then, over time, these can migrate to other rooms as you find other elements.

The basics here are lovely. You might consider an asian altar table as a sideboard.

I like Stefanie's idea of breaking up the large space, with wainscoting. Above, you could paint an accent colour and either hang a lovely piece of art of even have a great spray of orange blossoms painted on the wall.

No. I just painted the bottom as it might look with white wainscoting and then added a different colour above with some orange blossoms. These could be painted on the wall by an artist or maybe even with a stencil.

I gasped when I saw that wall! It is stunning - please do not wallpaper it over. The drama lies in its expanse and beauty.

You could go absolutely the opposite way and create a long thin line of very small framed art and place them in a horizontal band a bit higher than half way down the wall.

I mean much smaller than these (almost as if you had framed very valuable stamps in a large matting and a black frame)
