Need help with flooring choise.

Earlier I asked about the dining room, thread was called Dining room first glance. The idea was to run the flooring from the entry, halls, kitchen and family rooms on into the living dining combo. But we had a flooring problem with the engineered wood flooring in the family room.

Since I posted, we were told that the floor is discontinued.

We talked with our flooring contractor. DH and I have decided to put in LVP.

Looking for advice on coloring. The Cortec in highlands oaklooks the best. But I will miss the white oak that we picked out 5 years ago, it had a lovely glow. The pic will show it how it is now

Highlands Oak is a nice brown with grey that should update the floor, hopefully I can make a second pic with it to look right

Sasha loves her spot! You can see thru the kitchen into the previous asked about dining room.

So your choices are what is shown in the two photos? Choice 1 is the oak similar to what the dog is laying on, and Choice 2 is the Highlands Oak from the second photo? If that is the case, I think the first photo looks better. It is warmer and I believe goes better with your walls.

Unfortunately, those floors Sasha is on have to be ripped out. I love those floors but the subfloor dis colored the family room, so it's a total loss, no more product to match.

I do not like the second floor at all. Have you looked at other flooring stores to see if you could match it to the floor that your dog is lying on? I would have to satisfy myself that it can't be found before I chose another floor, and I would never install LVP in place of wood, that would cause a decrease in the value of your home. Be careful here, don't so something that is going to make your home less valuable than before, take your time picking the correct thing, that will maintain or increase the value of your home while you have the chance to do so.
