Has anyone installed a clay chimney pot? Any pros/cons I should consider? (I live in FL, in case that has a bearing.) I am re-stuccoing my home to an adobe style, and the clay chimney pot will be a decorative element on my roofline.

My alternative is to refinish the black metal chimney on the house now, which is in good functional shape.

Thanks for any input.
