My husband and I planted First Prize pumpkin seeds in May. About a week ago we noticed what looked like a baby pumpkin forming but the flower on top had not opened. Yesterday the flower had opened but we have not had any male blooms open yet. We also have another baby pumpkin that looks like it will blooming soon as well. Is there a reason why our female blooms are opening before our male blooms?
