Black Gold Superba - Stripes?
I got this plant's mother as a rescue a few years ago. Last year I unspotted/repotted and divided it into 4 plants. All 4 survived, but one of the pups which I had separated out as a 4 inch stub is doing something strange. It has grown twice as large and fast as any of the others (including the mother) and is changing color. All the new leaves have full leaf length variegated white/yellow stripes, and all the stripes are developing horizontal dark green striations. These photos don't do it justice, but hopefully you can see what it is doing. If anyone has an explanation, I'd love to hear it! :)
PS: The mother plant just spent the last month dazzling us with lovely flowers.

This is the only pup I kept the others I have traded off recently. You can see one of the pups to the left of the mother in the 4th photo. The mother was severely sun burned when I got it, and every leaf was damaged and still bears scars. The mother only has 1 leaf with a mismark, the rest are clear green but with scars from damage. The pup I am asking about has these markings showing up on every leaf. Here are more photos of the mother. I thought the markings on the mother were from severe sun damage, I had thought the plant was near death when I got it. As you will see, I documented the flower as it developed.

I just want to add that I have talked to and "loved" this plant more than my others.
It responded with 4 more pups this year.

Thank you! It is this plant that made me start collecting Sans. I just really love this plant, despite its scars and brown spots. I cut away 3 completely dead leaves, cut a couple others down hoping I could save some small part of it. As it turned out, the shriveled dry husk greened back up and grew back. I may lose the last original leaf that is slowly turning more brown. But when I was handed this plant, I originally just wanted the ceramic pot it was in because it has a dragonfly on it! There was just a single small shriveled brown plant in the pot. The following year it gave me 4 pups that I cut out (one of which is the plant I am asking about). You can see it gave me even more, and the pup from last year is putting out pups now too. I can't believe how fast this thing has grown.
