I cannot match the vinyl siding of the rest of my house ( a tan color- which is now faded) to the new attic dormer (raised roof for a master attic suite). Contractor is using a transition strip and then we are figuring out what siding to do. My question is use cedar shingle siding that is a complimentary color or add vinyl siding that is close and paint or other thoughts...
