gor sounds like he is right on the money to me. Daconil works good for fungal issues, also.

Regardless whether or not it is a disease , the following should be done.

== Cleaning up all the affected leaf branches .

== Spraying with a fungicide of choice.

== Repeat in 5 to 10 days or after rain, whichever comes first.

I may have this condition on one of my plants. Looks the same, so I have begun removing branches showing it. I realized I was NOT disinfecting my shears, and probably transferring the fungus. They now get disinfected with each use. I wipe them in a rag soaked with Isopropyl Alcohol prior to snipping another branch.

We plan to pick up the fungicide today.

Suzi good reminder! I keep a container of Clorox Wipes in my shed for cleaning shears after cutting suspect plants.

Thank you everyone for your help! Our county agricultural man (sorry, don't know the correct title) came by today and confirmed that it IS a mild case of Blight.

Hopefully EARLY Blight and not Late Blight.

I hope he was more specific than that. It sure doesn't look like early blight to me and there is no such thing as a mild case of late blight. EB makes smaller bullseye lesions.

If it was late blight, that plant would most likely have been dead before Heather's last post.

I do agree it doesn't look like a typical presentation of EB, but it doesn't really look entirely like LB, either. I assume that the agricultural expert would have told her to immediately destroy the plant if he thought it was LB.

I think the large brown streaks with wide yellow margins look most like drought stress damage. There are some spotty areas that look like EB. Maybe atypical looking Septoria? If it's LB, Heather would know by now.

@gorbelly, I hope you are right. We are in a big drought here, and on a mandatory drought water restriction, so it makes sense that the tomatoes would react in this manner. You should see my fig trees! Same burnt edges on many leaves! They are actually so crisp, I can just touch the burnt parts and they crumble, leaving a partial green leaf.

I agree with gorbelly. Honestly it looks like drought stress to me.

Late blight does not typically have the yellowing.

I definitely do see a few spots that could be fungal including EB. Maybe those are the mild case of EB.

We've had SOME dry spells, but it's actually been raining a decent amount the past few weeks. I had wondered if it has had too much water?

He gave us something to put on it. It's peanut butter colored and powdery and said we mix about a tablespoon (I think) in a gallon of water and spray it on it. I'm not sure what the stuff is, but I'm guessing that it isn't organic....
