No I'm not a professional! I just watch a lot of design shows and live on the Houzz app. My husband and I did this. He is a carpenter and I gave him the ideas. It took almost 4 years. With much planning and changes along the way.

We lived in it while we under construction. And got 2 puppies during all this. I think we slept in every room in the house and kept moving all our things from room to room. Took out 1 wall at a time and lived with it. Before deciding to take out the next. Lol. There is only 1 original wall in the house. The dining room now used to be the bathroom. I love to tell people that when they are over for dinner. Haha

I gravitated toward your post as we are in the 5th month of our whole home remodel. I feel like it might take 4 years... :) but hoping not. Again... fantastic!
