I am from Paraguay, is in center of South America, I don't know what number of zone is, but is a tropical country, a lot of sun and hot, our winter barely reach 10C, my seedlings are under led grow light, this is my second batch of seedlings, I have killed my first batch because they were in full sun and burned, I was very inexperienced, so this time I didn't take that risk, I also have 8 adults plants, and I'm learning a lot in this forum, I'm totally addicted. In my country there are some Taiwanese immigrants who grows this plants, I am buying my little collection from them. Thanks for responding... So I just have to wait that seedling to branch?

Pagan is right the are well grown. Give it time They would love your sun but might need watered every day for you. If you do put them out start with semi shade for about a week. They should grow faster outside.

Hello Cynthia and welcome to the forum! I don't think we've got anyone else from Paraguay, how interesting, I know Stuart is from Suriname, it's no where near you, but it's South America isn't it! We have a great community of people here spread over every continent with different growing practises and vastly different climatic conditions to contend with. Please do post as much as you can, show us pictures of your other plants and ask as much as you need:-)

Regarding your odd seedling, it does look 'blind' as if it's lost it's growing point for some reason. I would keep it for curiosity and just wait and see what happens, it will be interesting to follow it through. It may turn out to be your best ever plant!

Something will 'surely have to blow' with the energy being pumped into it from the roots and (I know there's just the 2) leaves? Where would we expect it to show, will it just force a growing point to develop? A real curiosity.

I'm closely observing this little guy, its caudex is fat and hard, very healthy to me, I will update when something happens haha :)
