Monica, I have one rooting right now and its leaves are somewhat softish. I'm getting a bit worried but other than the lack of rigidity, it looks OK to me. Is yours rooted already?
Hi - thanks aurorawa and Gloria. Yes, my plant is rooted. I purchased it as an established plant. The leaves are keeping their shape and are kinda thick but not necessarily stiff. I'm not sure if I should check the roots (I haven't been watering it much since it's pretty succulent) I can't imagine any rot. Maybe a good watering with MG tomato fertilizer.
Soft leaves are nothing to worry about when they are rooting. They're just conserving moisture. Keep it in a humidity dome and it will root fast and firm up.
