How do you close the gap between the door & the wall, like to prevent dust and insects to enter.

For exterior sliding doors we typically recommend putting weatherstripping or door sweeps around the perimeter of the opening.

We concur with Real Sliding HW, we would also add to that to oversize the door a bit. Some have interior doors to seal their homes or barns from the elements and barn doors over that for extra protection and as a design element.
