Hi guys. Hopefully my vague title made you click on this. Anywho,

I'm hoping to grow quite a few things from seed this coming spring, a lot of which will hopefully be some interesting maples such as Acer micranthum, Acer pentaphyllum, etc etc. I will have to purchase the seed.

So my questions are:

1) Where would you recommend I buy the seed from? The only place I've purchased seed of any kind from is Sheffields, and they seem to be fine. I've seen another place mentioned before, but I can't currently recall the name. If there's some sort of secret Acer seed store, please let me in on the secret.

2) The whole "double dormancy" thing with Acer palmatum seed that isn't fresh scares me. I assume other maples are similar, though I haven't done a lot of research yet. Since most of the seed I buy probably won't be fresh, I'm worried about doing the right things to get them to germinate. Any insight is appreciated.

3) What's the neatest/most rare maple in your garden?
