Looking for appliance recommendations

We are starting to look at appliances for our new kitchen, so I would love recommendations. Our total budget is $6k. We need a gas 30" counter depth stove / oven combo. We are looking for one that does not have a back piece and has a lip over countertop. 36" counter depth refrigerator, microwave to go above stove and a standard size dishwasher. We are looking for stainless finishes. Any appliances you love or recommendations that fit within our budget? Thanks!

We've remodeled a couple of homes and have had good luck with the top or near top of the line Whirlpool dishwashers. We just moved to a house with a bottom of the line DW and I HATE it. The wire racks are not made for normal dishes. Pictures make it look like normal dishes fit, but they don't. Before you decide on the DW, you might take several of your bowls and glassware in to to a showroom where they are on display to be sure you aren't disappointed later.

The other problem with this one is the silverware rack fits onto the door, so water can't get behind the silverware to wash the back side of it.

We are very pleased with our Samsung slide in gas range. The model is NX58H9500WS/AA. I am a big baker and DW does most of the cooking and we both love it. The True convection is awesome! We also have a Bosch 500 series dishwasher that we can't say enough good things about. It's not counter depth but we're very pleased with our LG fridge, we did build it in so it has a pretty clean look. The model is LDC24370ST. We were able to find all of our appliances on sale and stayed under your budget including a washer, dryer, and vent hood.

Can you vent to the outside? Usually a microwave hood cannot vent enough cfm for the btu in a gas stove. Add up the number of BTUs for the burners on the stove and then divide by 100 so a 40,000 BTU stove needs a 400 CFM hood.

Agree with the others that if you can't vent out, I would look at induction instead of gas. I've read the Frigidaire induction range is a good one btw but you'd have better luck asking in the appliance forum.

For a DW, Bosch is probably the best.

banana suit- Thank you so much for the review of the Samsung NX58H9500WS range! I have to pull the trigger on appliances today and I'm still biting my nails. This is my go-to for "other than pro" type ranges, but I've been nervous about it because I used to have a DCS and am afraid it will feel small and underpowered. I've also chosen a Bosch 500 series DW, so you've helped there, also!
