Hi Billie, Most residential projects are built with standard wood framing for a variety of reasons - the main one being cost. The Neo Farmhouse project used a different building material called RASTRA, and finding a contractor who was familiar with working with it was difficult. Steel stud framing is mostly used in commercial construction, so you may need to look at a commercial contractor for this type of construction method.
