Love at first bloom

I have loved my H. lacunosa "snocaps" from the start, even more so now. Came home to an unfamiliar but wonderful fragrance in my house this evening. Sweet, light, floral, and utterly charming. This is the first time the plant has bloomed for me, and has 4 other peduncles thst hopefully will do their thing soon. And even better, this little darling does not trigger my scent allergies in the slightest. Now that I know this, will be getting cuttings of Thai Clone and Langkawi Island to join this and my little "poonsak".

Fragrance wise, this is my new favorite Hoya. Even nicer than bella.

My mom has a pretty big Lacunosa hanging in the dining room Bay window of her home, and it blooms prolifically. The downstairs just has that scent floating in the air. It's wonderful isn't it? ^_^

I hope mine gets huge for me one day, it has been growing well for me though. And my other lacunosa, "poonsak", seems to be well on its way to recovery but is a very small plant now I am afraid.

Do these bloom all year round then? That would be excellent!

Hers sure does! I really can't get over it, I would imagine your "snocaps" will look gorgeous covered in the white blooms. A beautiful contrast!

That is exciting to think about. Mmmm, I can smell these sweet blooms from across the house tonight. I am sure the ceiling fan near the plant helps with that. No need to fire up my wax melter for nice homey smells while this girl is doing her thing.
