I have been dealing with an odd weed popping up throughout my lawn, when it pops up it typically does this in batches. It has needle type leaves. I am in the New England area. I am afraid to pull it out because I don't want to cause additional spreading but I can't find any information or even what this is in my internet searches. I have attached a picture, any help would be great.
