No, I don't like it. The size is good, but it looks thin and I don't know how that color does anything for your room or furniture. I would integrate both pattern and color that compliments the rest of the space and furnishings. Perhaps you should pick up an accent color that can be sprinkled around the room.

all your surrounding colors (beige, sage, dark wood) are warm. and your rug is a cool gray. a big print rug with the colors of sage, beige, maybe a shade of olive, yellow, etc., would wake the area up. patterned pillows with the same colors would also warm up those leather sofas. maybe a warm bittersweet throw over the chair. and while your print above the sofa may be nice, it just blends in and doesn't pop at all. again - something larger, much bolder, and hung just a couple of inches higher.

I think the lighter rug works fine with the floor, but it needs more color, preferably a pattern that has some of the creamy color of the sofa and chair. The furniture is bland, so you can take some liberties with a pattern in the rug. Also, since your furniture is more Mid-Century Modern, a traditional rug really doesn't "go."

That second one that deco posted would be good also. Then you could pick up on the teal for accessories or art.
