Although wood would be the first choice any help deciding bewteen the following two tiles for the floor. The kitchen cabinets will be Ramsjo white

Willow is blueish gray
Rovere is lighter gray

Both will be 6x24 laid in herringbone pattern (see pic)

counterertops will be Caserstone
Misty Carrina or London Gray

The Herringbone is awesome, so both will be striking! The lighter flooring seems to have more grain to highlight it, so I'd go light

I agree with disilberman -- either Willow or Rovere would look nice. Maybe you can think in terms of cleaning -- Willow will probably hide all the dirt better? Unless you want to clearly see any dirt (so you can clean it up), in which case maybe the Rovere is a better chioce. It's fun you think of Frosty Carrina as Misty Carrina. Please keep us updated with photos of the progess. :)

I have a tile very similar to the herringbone although ours is not laid in that pattern. It is by far one of my best choices for maintenance. Hardly anything shows in terms is spots, watermarks, crumbs etc. I have white cabinetry and dark stone counters with some black glass doors.

Willow would be better from a cleaning perspective. Good point.

Matt- I like Willow and Carina. You need to get the doorway to the kitchen opened up a little, even if you have to spend a few extra bucks for the electrician and basic carpentry. :)

Anyone have any input on sizes on using a 6x24 vs 6x36 when you only have apprx 7 feet of width to work with? My kitchen is very narrow. So were leaning towards the 6x24's Here is a pic of narrow kitchen where they used 4.5" x 24

I would definitely go with Willow. Lighter flooring is very hard to keep clean looking. In my experience, it never really looks clean, even if you mop daily. Plus Willow flooring will provide more contrast with your cabinets, which will keep your kitchen from being so monochromatic as it seems like there won't be much contrast between your cabinets and countertops. Last, I would definitely go with the shorter tile as it will make the herringbone patter more prominent, but given the narrowness of your kitchen there won't be so much of it as to be too visually busy.

Who makes this tile? What brand is it? Thanks!

Which tile? The one I posted originally or the pic of the kitchen that says Grant Park kitchen?
The two tiles you posted originally to choose from, Willow or rovere, but if you know the flooring from the Grant Park kitchen as well that would be very appreciated!

The gray tile which I originally posted is made by Daltile (Terrace is the series) Willow is the color

Could anyone suggest a white paint color for the walls using the above tile and London Grey countertops. Also need a white trim suggestion as well?

Fall50, I love the first kitchen you posted, do you have any details on that?

For color I would take your countertop and floor sample to Farrow and Ball. They have amazing colors.
