We always get to a point in the year when we start getting tomatoes but not enough to make sauce. I was wondering if anyone every ran the tomatoes thru a tomato grinder and froze till they had enough for a large batch? We are getting only about a gallon sized basket a week now. In 2-3 weeks it will be 5+ times that. I was thinking of freezing small batches and freezing until I had more to make a big batch of sauce for canning .....
