My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

can this hood be used over an island or does it have to installed against a wall?

    Dear Houzz Customer,


    Thank you for contacting us. Technically yes, you can install an island mount as if it were a wall mount but the process would probably be more difficult. Island mounts are generally more difficult to install because you would need to secure it properly to the ceiling and adjust the support frame.
