Is the fabric on the cushions water proof or do they need to be taken indoors when it rains?

They should be taken in to help prolong the life or you can purchase winter/protective covers. These are water resistant but not through heavy rains. The fabric is Yarn Dyed Acrylic.

Our cushions have water spots on them from rain. Is it o.k. to wash them in the washing machine in cold water and then air dry them?

Is it resistant to the sun fading the material? I live in south Florida

Yes, the fabric has a 2 year warranty against fading.
