I would love a red or green rug, would pull all colors together. A couple throw pillows in red and green on the tan couch and you are styling!

Green is going to ground your space the best, not fight either gold or yellow tones on wall and primary upholstery. You could play it safe and do a simple sisal. But, for fun, layer a cowhide on top. :) Like this...
