Haha. Doesn't that just suck, Brian? You wait and wait on the inflos to develop and finally start blooming then sniff and get nothing.

Don't know your cultivar. Might want to measure the blooms and snap the leaves as well and post in the plumie forum.

I'm sure you've sniffed at night? Sometimes the scent increases after you've picked a bloom on some varieties.

Yes big time Robert got this as a cutting off ebay been growing it on for two years and now it is loaded with buds!! yet no fragrance :( Had a few other ppl take a sniff to make sure it was not just me!! :P But nope nothing :(

And i might do that later see what they say on the plumie forum

Jungle Jack's plumies are known for not having much scent. Don't know how easy they are to get in Europe but thought I'd throw that out there. A local nursery normally gets some every year and I have to take a gamble on the scent description on the label since most aren't blooming when I buy them. Last year I got Temptation which is labeled as fragrant but I could hardly detect any scent when it finally bloomed. Who knows. Maybe if it blooms this year the scent will be stronger?
