What is its texture?

What is the texture like? Does it feel plasticky? Or rough? The description states that it is wool-like. What does that mean?

Hello! Thanks for your inquiry. This rug is machine made of 100% polypropylene. By nature of the material, the pile is soft to the touch but will not have the same softness and tactile sensation as a natural fiber wool rug. The pile height is approximately .37". By stating it's wool-like, we are referring the the plushness and density of the pile, which is similar to a wool pile. Happy Houzzing!
