I can't see anything in your link which mentions Creeping Fig. It is a gaming website and nothing to do with real plants or real spiders. The 'wall creeper' is an imaginary creature in the game 'Terraria' and is referred to as a 'spider-like enemy', not an enemy of spiders. But since it is totally fantasy the wording is irrelevant anyway.

In real life spiders will enjoy any plant which provides cover and I don't think there are any plant species which would repel them, or indeed encourage them, any more than any others. Bear in mind that spiders are good guys in the garden.
