Can anyone help me figure out what this is?

Hi everyone. I have spent the last several hours trying to identify this plant. I planted a few last year and they didn't do much. I actually thought they died. This spring, an entire mound of them came up. Finally, one has flowered so I am hoping to figure out what it is. I save all the tags that come with plants but that one is missing. I am in Southern NJ. It reminds me of a delphinium but i an not sure I bought any delphiniums. The leaves are serrated and opposite and it is roughly 30 inches tall. Thanks for any help.
