My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    It would be hard to believe that anyone would do a custom kitchen with cherry cabinets and marble tile and then put a laminate counter on top, but you never know. However, I'd guess these to be a solid surface or a honed black granite. Would be interesting to know for sure!

    If they are laminate, I think it's the perfect thing for this kitchen...
    ...I love the matte finish and the color is perfect.

    IMO, Laminate is underrated - There are many nice options out there, it's so economical and much easier to maintain than marble or butcherblock!
