Thanks. It might be the cross, its very slow growing and hard to imagine reaching the full size I read on the net of 40' for pure H.shepherdii.

The "scent of chocolate" is a stretch.

The leaves look like my H. shepherdii, but your flowers are much more pink than mine. Mine grows very slowly, and no... it doesn't smell like chocolate to me either. It has only bloomed once, and now that I think of it there were garlic tones to the fragrance. It has a few new peduncles budding up, thos one seems to flower faster than it grows!

Although they are some of my favorites, I've always been a bit confused by the many different long-leaved Hoyas. I find it hard to keep track of what is what, so I made a photo sheet I can refer to when a tag suddenly comes up missing. Here is a LINK to the document I made. Shepherdii has the thinnest and longest leaves. I think Stan's is either shepherdell or Minibelle. Minibelle's leaves tend to be a little stouter, and they're not as consistent. In other words, sometimes the edges aren't real straight. I think you'll see what I'm talking about in the photos. HTH...
