LittleCat, in her box on the sunny windowledge, ears back, rail swishing, looks down on Jacob, who also has laid back ears and a swishing tail..... They POUNCE on each other and roll back and forth on the floor, in sheer exuberant play,,, ...Then come apart and stare at each other...

A year ago both these cats had been abandoned. LittleCat ( no other name has stuck) was gathered into the cat refuge after a shaken and upset lady caught a man starting to bury her newborn kittens, and maybe her ( lady was in tears and they could not get the story straight . Jacob was handed in when his family were moving house and could not take him...

So they came here.. only Littlegirl was intentional but Jacob is a showman.. Now he poses on the post at the bottom.. of the stairs to be on a level with my head... Two happy sturdy cats...

PS we have a weather warning out. Don't laugh; sun is out and temps will rise to 27...For here that is VERY HOT.. washing out and me in!
