It doesn't have to be head on. Try it another way and then if you have room, balance the look with a dresser or other large furniture piece on the wall directly across from it.

My bed is on the right hand wall in my bedroom, and you see the side of my bed when walking into the room. The wall my bed is on is the only wall that works due to windows and doors!
